With the Genesis Digital Key app for supported 2021+ models, you can quickly access and control your vehicle using your smartphone. The app allows you to place a smartphone on the wireless charging pad to start your vehicle, and also allows you to use the buttons in the app to lock or unlock the doors, turn panic mode on or off, or open the trunk.
To drive, you have to place your smartphone on the dashboard to start the engine. To stop the engine, you have to tap the button on the dashboard. To drive in a parked vehicle, you have to tap the button on the RSPA (Remote Smart Parking) icon.
